AAU SANTCTIONED EVENT: ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE A CURRENT 2009-2010 AAU CARD TO PARTICIPATE. CARDS WILL BE SOLD AT THE WEIGH-INS. ANY WRESTLER MAY REGISTER AT THE TWO WEIGH-IN TIMES, FRIDAY OCT. 23 FROM 6:00 PM—8:00 PM AND SATUARDAY OCT. 24 FROM 7:00 AM—8:00 AM. ALL WEIGH INS WILL BE HELD IN THE RIO RANCHO MID HIGH WRESTLING ROOM. APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED WITH A $20.00 CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CASHIER’S CHECK. ANY WRESTLER WHO COMPETES IN TWO DIVISIONS OR TWO WEIGHT CLASSES WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $10.00. ALL WRESTLERS MUST WEIGH IN.

Open Rules: Wrestlers must not represent any high School or wear any high school singlet or uniform and may not be coached by High School Staff. Tee Shirts and shorts are allowed.
Awards: Top 3 will receive medals
States: Flyers are sent to NM, AZ, TX, CO, OK and CA.
Entry Fee: $10.00 for pre-registration and $20 for on-site registration. $10 for extra weight class or additional division.

Rio Rancho High School and anyone associated with the RRHS will not be held liable for any injury. The wrestler and the parents assume all responsibility for any injuries which may occur to the wrestler. The wrestler and parents hereby exonerate and discharge Rio Rancho High school, staff, or any officer of RRHS of any claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present and future, whether the same be anticipated, or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of the wrestler's participation in the 2009 Halloween Open. Results from the 2008 Halloween Open
This years Halloween Open Wrestling Tournament was a huge success. The Rio Rancho Wrestling Program would like to thank all of the schools/programs that attended this event. Your attendance makes amatuer wrestling in New Mexico a very competitive state. We would especially like to thank the many local Albuquerque Wrestling programs who attended and the support of coaches that came to watch the competition at Rio Rancho. Every year this event gets better and better. Check back often to see next year's Halloween Open date.
